Ingredients
|
| Stacker 2 contains Caffeine , a central nervous system stimulant often used as an aid to stay awake, for mental alertness due to fatigue or, in combination with other ingredients for pain relief, and as a power and energy accelerate.
Caffeine is available alone as a non-prescription drug over the counter medication, in combination with other non-prescription drugs, and in prescription drug combinations for relief of pain and headache.
Like Ephedra, caffeine acts to increase mental alertness while providing additional energy for weight loss and exercise training. Caffeine is more than a stimulant as it goes deep into muscles to provide long lasting power while delaying the onset of muscle fatigue. Also great before working out, caffeine fights fatigue and helps you get ready for your workout.
For dieters feeling sluggish that need just a little something extra to get them through the day, caffeine is the obvious no-calorie stimulant solution.
Many products containing caffeine anhydrous contain as much caffeine as one or two cups of coffee. It is recommended to limit the use of caffeine containing medications, foods, or beverages while taking caffeine supplements as excess caffeine intake may cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness and occasional rapid heart beat. |

| Stacker 2 also contains Green Tea Extract , a bioflavonoid rich, potent extract used primarily for fighting free radicals. It contains a high content of polyphenols, which are a class of bioflavonoids. Green tea extract contains a potent antioxidant, EGCG, which is over 200 times more powerful than vitamin E in neutralizing the pro-oxidants and free radicals that attack lipids in the brain. Green tea extract helps with thermogenesis and aids in the metabolism of fat. Green Tea has been used for years as a powerful antioxidant, it may also be helpful in shedding fat.
The most obvious benefit to dieters is that it works without increasing the heart rate most often found in diet aids. The increased heart rate leaves dieters jittery and eventually, most dieters stop using the supplement and gain weight back. Now through using green tea extract, dieters get the weight loss benefits without any of the jittery effects, especially in obese individuals with hypertension and other cardiovascular complications.

| Stacker 2 has Gymnema Sylvestre , also known as Gurmar and Meshashringi, or 'sugar destroyer'.
Gymnema Sylvestre leaves have a blood sugar lowering effect. The leaf extracts also contain gymnemic acid which inhibits hyperglycemia and also acts as a cardiovascular stimulant.
Gymnema Sylvestre is commonly used to remove the taste of sugar, therefor reducing cravings for sweets. |

| Stacker 2 also contains White Willow Bark , which is often used as a natural alternative to aspirin, and is best not to be used by individuals allergic to aspirin. White willow bark extract offers little benefit to weight loss by itself but when used with other dietary supplements, it is thought to work as a thermogenic and help to elevate energy expenditure and promote the metabolsim of fat.
|
| |
| Stacker 2 has Synthetic Guggulsterones , which is a form of orally administered guggulipid, which increases T3 (tryiidothyronine) levels in animal models. T3 is the conversion product of T4, which is produced by the thyroid gland. Thyroid hormone levels are closely involved in metabolic function. Increased thyroid levels can cause more fat to be burned and stored.
While on a diet, the body responds by decreasing T3 levels, therefor decreasing metabolic rate. It is not known how guggulipid increases T3 levels.
Guggul, also called guggulipid, is an ethyl acetate extract of the gum resin of the guggul tree.
